How to Get Sponsors for Your Event

Have you ever had a great idea for an event and didn't have the funds to turn it into a reality?
.
There are people and companies out there looking for sponsorship opportunities. Read on to learn some ways that you can entice people to be your sponsors.

  1. Step 1

Create a fact sheet providing information about your company. This fact sheet will provide potential sponsors with enough information to decide whether or not it is a great opportunity.

  2. Step 2

Figure out how much funding you will need to put on your event. Create a budget so that you know how much you are willing to spend on everything.

  3. Step 3

Create a sponsorship proposal outlining sponsor benefits and deliverables. Deliverables must be attractive to sponsors. Offer to include the sponsor's logo as well as links to their website on your collateral materials.

  4. Step 4

Decipher sponsorship levels such as platinum, gold, silver or bronze. If the highest amount of money you require for sponsors is $10,000, the level of sponsorship will be platinum. You can decrease the other levels by intervals of $2,000.

  5. Step 5

Once the sponsors are determined, you can provide the sponsors with additional publicity by sending out press materials with information on their level of sponsorship.
